The facts about Callum’s Work Accident Case
Callum was employed by a labour hire company to complete road works in Loganlea. He directed by the foreman to assist him in lifting and rolling out a roll of geo fabric weighting approx. 100kg onto the road surface. When lifting one end of the roll, the foreman unexpectedly let go of his end without any warning, causing injury to Callum’s left wrist.
Callum continues to suffer from ongoing pain and reduced range of movement in his left wrist, creating limitations in any jobs involving heavy manual handling tasks. He subsequently was diagnosed with adjustment disorder with anxiety.*
